Lexus Debuts GS 350 F Sport Safety Car at Sydney Motorsport Park

Thanks to a long-standing partnership between Lexus Australia and Sydney Motorsport Park, track officials can now look forward to the ownership of a permanent GS 350 F Sport safety car.

 CEO of Sydney Motorsport Park and the Australian Racing Drivers’ Club, Glenn Matthews, said that the GS was a great addition to the course in light of recent changes.

As a permanent resident to the course, this one of only eleven F Sport editions to be offered in Australia this year will act as safety car to all upcoming races during the season, beginning with the 2012 Muscle Car Classic on the 1st of September.

The Lexus GS safety car is equipped with the standard 3.5-liter V6 delivering 306bhp and can sprint from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6 seconds.
