Jean “Jeannot” Ragnotti channels his racing days while piloting both new and old Renaults.
The Renault Alpine is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Renault has produced an incredible Alpine A110-50. The awesome clip features the famed French rally driver Jean "Jeannot" Ragnotti, fitting since he piloted Renault models in the World Rally Championship.Aside from looking amazing in the mountains, the original Alpine still looks like a blast to drive. Renault says that the new Alpine A110-50 was designed for performance and driving pleasure.
It runs on the Renault Megane Trophy race car's platform and is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine good for 395hp and 311lb-ft of torque.Aside from looking amazing in the mountains, the original Alpine still looks wonderful to drive. As far as Monsieur Ragnotti goes, he's still got what it takes.
