Ford is reportedly developing a high-performance Falcon GT codenamed the Panther.
According to reports out of Australia, the model will use a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 449 hp (335 kW / 455 PS) and 420 lb-ft (570 Nm) of torque. This could enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
