2013 Seat Leon Pops Up Early

Official photos of the new 2013 Seat Leon have leaked online showcasing both the standard the sportier FR models from all angles.

 Styling was previewed in the sporty IBE Coupe Concept that blessed the Paris Motor Show in 2010. The design was well received at the time, but has unfortunately been toned down for the production version. The FR trim is distinguished by modified front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels and FR badging on both the exterior and interior

 The new generation Leon rides on the same MQB platform that underpins the new Volkswagen Golf and the new Audi A3, therefore we would expect a similar engine line-up to be employed. This will include a variety of petrol and diesel units and there is reportedly a plug-in hybrid in the works ready for a 2014 launch.
