Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish officially unveiled

Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish officially unveiled, replaces DBS.
Following a bunch of leaks earlier today, Aston Martin has officially taken the covers off of its new DBS replacement – known as the Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish.

“Sitting proudly at the pinnacle of the luxury British car maker’s sports car line-up, this breath-taking new super grand tourer represents the zenith of current Aston Martin design and engineering,” Aston Marin said in a statement. “Vanquish points to an exciting and confident future for the historic brand.”

The Aston Martin AM 310 Vanquish features a stunning visual design with some new styling cues including a new side profile, elongated side strakes and LED rear light blades taken from the Aston Martin One-77.

“The new AM 310 Vanquish mixes beautiful design with impressive technology such as the superb new infotainment system,” said CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez. This is the latest incarnation of everything we know, informed and developed from One-77. It is the ultimate Super Grand Tourer – confident and assured – and is the newest representation of Power, Beauty and Soul.”

Power comes from a 6.0 liter V12 engine 565-hp at 6,750 rpm with a maximum torque of 457 lb-ft at 5,500 rpm. Mated to a rear-mid mounted, 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic/sequential manual gearbox, 0 to 62 mph comes in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph.

The new Vanquish was designed and hand-built at Aston's global headquarters and comes as a 2+2 or 2+0. It's priced from £189,995 with deliveries expected to being later this year. US launch and pricing info will follow in due course.
