Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid Supercar

Porsche 918 Spyder is a hybrid supercar variant which will be produced in 918 units and priced 645k Euros ($845k) per unit. The first deliveries will be realized at least at upcoming year (2013). This supercar version features hybrid powertrain plus mid-mounted 500 hp V8 and 2 – front electric motors each engine will delivers 80 kW (109 hp). The body of the car is constructed from carbon fiber-reinforced plastic monocoque.

The great performance of Porsche 918 Spider is could reach its sprint in 3.2 second (0-100 km / h) and makes its top speed until 320 km / h. The 918 Spyder is also completed with high technology so that the car just needs 3 liters fuel consumption to reach 100 km distances. To provide enough electricity for the car there is liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery which can be rejoiced from a conventional domestic power socket, then can be used to run 25 km (16 miles) with pure electric power.
