2013 Dodge Dart Pricing Announced


If you’re soon to be in the market for a compact sedan, chances are good the 2013 Dodge Darthas made your shopping list. It won’t hit dealerships until June, but Dodge has just released pricing on the full range of Dart models.








Dodge’s compact sedan will be available in five trim levels, beginning with the Dart SE, priced from $16,790 including destination charge. That gets you a Dart with the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder “Tigershark” engine, good for 160 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.



You’ll also get 10 standard airbags; four-wheel disc brakes; projector headlamps; LED taillights; a soft-touch instrument panel; a six-way adjustable driver’s seat; power windows and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system. Major options at this trim level include a six-speed automatic gearbox, and Dart shoppers at all levels can opt for the fuel-efficient 1.4-liter MultiAir turbo engine, which delivers the same 160 horsepower, but ups torque output to 184 pound-feet. .

Next up the range is the Dart SXT, which lists for $18,790, including destination charge. In addition to the standard equipment found on the Dart SE, the SXT gets 17-inch aluminum wheels; powered body-colored mirrors; power door locks; remote keyless entry; a six-speaker audio system; a security alarm; a 60/40 folding rear seat and micron filtration for the HVAC system.


Options at this trim level include a class-exclusive 8.4-inch touchscreen navigation system, a rear backup camera, a powered sunroof and a 506-watt audio system.


In the middle of the range is the $19,790 Dart Rallye, which builds from the SXT with unique front and rear styling; dual exhuast with bright tips; a leather wrapped steering wheel; cruise control; steering wheel audio controls and a trip computer.

If you’d rather have a Dodge Dart that leans towards luxury, $20,790 will get you a Dart Limited. Also based on the Dart SXT, the Limited adds a bright grille and door handles; the 8.4-inchUconnect infotainment screen; a back up camera; a 7-inch TFT reconfigurable instrument cluster; fog lamps, a 10-way powered driver’s seat; accent stitching, grille shutters and more.

Limited models can be equipped with a Nappa leather interior; a heated steering wheel; rear cross-path detection; polished wheels and a Garmin navigation system.

Finally, the sport-themed Dart R/T tops the range, starting at a price of $23,290 including destination charge. That buys you a Dart with the 2.4-liter Tigershark engine, good for 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque, and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

Starting with the Dart Limited, the R/T adds 18-inch aluminum wheels; a sport-tuned suspension; a unique front fascia with black accents and a “hyper black” grille; perforated Nappa leather seats; dual-zone climate control; heated seats and more.

The Dart R/T won’t hit dealerships before the third quarter of 2012, but other Dart models will begin arriving at your local Dodge dealer this June.
